Campgrounds

Campsites:
$80.00 for both days-includes 2 passes for each day. This paid receipt is your pass for both days. Water is available, but not at the RV space. If you need to refill your storage tank, please ask about water when you check-in at the event. Electricity is NOT available at the event RV Parking Area.

License Tag Numbers:
Please write your license tag number of motor home and/or license tag number of vehicle and trailer on your paid receipt. Also please include the type of R.V. that you will have at your campsite. (ie.-motorhome, 5th wheel, travel trailer, etc.)

Arrival Time:
Campers can set up their campsites starting Thursday afternoon, however due to TSA and Airport regulations no one can be allowed to stay at your campsite until Friday morning after 8:00 a.m.

Sewage:
Johnny on the Spot will be taking care of the tank dumping again this year. There is a daily fee for this service. Please let them know when you check in if you will need this service. They will collect the fees and provide you with flags to put out to have your tanks dumped.

Great Texas Balloon Race Historical Exhibit at the Gregg County Historical Museum

Gregg County Historical Museum has opened a new and improved GTBR historical exhibit that provides so much of the history of our world class Balloon Races.  You will learn how our event came to be and what we are all about.  There are multiple items on display that have their own stories to tell, such as trophies, medals, shirts and tons of memorabilia from Dr. Bussey's own personal collection.  Learning and understanding the history of the Great Texas Balloon Race will make our event just as meaningful to you, as it is to all of the wonderful people who are committed to making this event successful year after year.   Visit the Gregg County Historical Museum webpage link below for more information:
